Dua is rumoured to be appearing in one of Pedro’s upcoming films. Last month, Dua told Spanish news website El Espanol how much she admires him:

“I’m a great admirer of Pedro Almodóvar and I’d love to be an Almodóvar girl one day. His films really empower women, make them be themselves without apologies. Almodóvar’s work always has female protagonists, they are the absolute stars, so strong, so themselves. They speak to how much Pedro loves women in the way he presents them, their stories, with many nuances. It’s funny but also emotional and dramatic. It gives women a lot of layers and I love that.”

Dua was last seen with Pedro in January 2023 when she interviewed him for her podcast, Dua Lipa: At Your Service.
