Dua Lipa is rumoured to play a one-off show at London’s Wembley Stadium next June, following her incredible performance at Glastonbury in front of nearly 100,000 people. Wembley Stadium has a capacity of 90,000, making it the largest sports venue in the UK and the second-largest stadium in Europe.
It’s currently the right time for Dua to be announcing her ‘Radical Optimism‘ World Tour, starting with dates across America. However, a source told The Sun: “It’s looking like [Dua] will play one date at Wembley in June and a full-scale tour across America.” The source continued:
“It’s going to be quite an emotional moment, especially as Dua has been working towards something like this since she move to London aged just 15. She now only lives a few miles from the stadium, so it will really be a coming home moment for her. Her last tour was as good as sold out, but it was an arena tour. To make the jump to stadiums is amazing, especially when she’s only on her third album.”
The Sun Bizarre editor, Ellie Henman, took a selfie with Dua while at Glastonbury.
