Dua Lipa performs at McDonald’s private event in controversial move

Dua Lipa has caused controversy among fans by performing today at McDonald’s Worldwide Convention, private event for McDonald’s franchisees, suppliers, crew members, and employees from across the globe, at Palau Sant Jordi sports arena in Barcelona.

McDonald’s is on the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement’s list of companies which ought to be boycott, as it is “profiting from the Genocide of the Palestinian people.” It goes against Dua’s activism in supporting Palestine and wanting to bring an end to the genocide against its people. Dua and other bands and artists performing at the event seem to have kept a low profile about their appearance, though fans in attendance have been sharing some footage.

Dua performed multiple songs, including ‘Break My heart,’ ‘Cold Heart,’ ‘New Rules,’ ‘Training Season,’ ‘Physical,’ ‘One kiss,’ ‘Houdini,’ ‘Levitating,’ and ‘Don’t Stop Now.’
